Description: Constable Jett and Deputy John Swann (42-E: 26) were shot after they raided a moonshine still and arrested a suspect. As the lawmen escorted the suspect to jail, they were ambushed by a second suspect and fatally shot. The suspect was convicted of first degree murder.
