Description: Deputy Jones was shot while attempting to arrest two suspects for robbery. The suspects had robbed a man of his coat and hat, and were attempting to escape. Deputy Jones was shot in the abdomen by one of the suspects and died a few hours later. A second officer was seriously wounded in this incident but survived.
