Description: On May 31, 2016, at 6:36 p.m., Corporal Johnson and two other units were dispatched Code 2 to a domestic disturbance where a man was threatening to shoot a woman. The officers responded with emergency lights and sirens. The officers searched the residence with weapons drawn and then cleared the scene. The suspect had fled the residence. Corporal Johnson completed his shift. The next day, at approximately 5:10 p.m., Corporal Johnson reported for duty and was loading his unit when he collapsed. Corporal Johnson was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
