Description: Officer Johnson and Constable Spence went to a residence to arrest a suspect for stealing. When the officers entered the home where the suspect was sleeping, the suspect suddenly woke up and turned out the lights before opening fire on the officers. Officer Johnson was fatally wounded and died at the scene.
