Description: Patrolman Wrenn and Patrolman Jarnigan attempted to wrestle a handgun away from a suspect they were trying to place under arrest. Patrolman Wrenn, believing that Patrolman Jarnigan had possession of the weapon, loosened his hold on the suspect. The suspect shot Patrolman Wrenn in the face and Patrolman Jarnigan in the head and chest. Both officers died at the scene. The suspect was charged with murder.
