Description: Officer Jicerek and his Deputy, Charles Linert were in their squad car, and as Officer Jicerek had been driving for many hours, he moved to the back and the deputy moved to the driver's seat. They were then struck with great intensity from the rear causing the car to spin and overturn. The gasoline tank exploded and the car was engulfed in flames. Deputy Linert managed to get out, but was unable to even come close to the car to help Officer Jicerek, as the flames were too hot. The driver of the other car was charged with manslaughter and held for Grand Jury action.
