Description: Police Officer Jones and his K9 partner, Laser, were killed as they approached a shed while searching for the killer of Officer Ron Ryan. The suspect used Officer RyanŸ??s gun to kill Officer Jones and used Officer JonesŸ?? gun to kill Laser. Earlier that day, Officer Ryan had responded to a report of a man sleeping in a car, woke the man and asked for ID. As Officer Ryan walked back to his patrol car, he was shot by the suspect, who was a drug dealer with an outstanding arrest warrant. The suspect took Officer RyanŸ??s gun and fled the scene. The suspect was convicted and sentenced to two life sentences without the possibility of parole.
