Description: Police Officer Jones was shot in the chest with his own gun as he attempted to place a suspect under arrest for stealing gasoline. The suspect then beat Officer Jones with his flashlight before he fled from the scene. Officer Jones was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect committed suicide when surrounded by law enforcement officers.
