Description: Deputy Kerl and Constable Jim Douglas served a warrant to a man revoking his probation. The man resisted arrest and struggled with the officers before being handcuffed and placed in the patrol car. Deputy Kerl got into the car and suffered a massive heart attack. Deputy Kerl was rushed to the hospital and died about an hour later.
