Description: Deputy Sheriff Klutz was shot and killed after responding to a 911 hang-up call. Deputy Klutz was the first deputy on the scene and found a domestic disturbance had just taken place. Deputy Klutz canvassed the neighborhood for the male suspect involved and was fatally shot. A second deputy who responded a short time later was also shot several times in his bullet proof vest as he exited his patrol vehicle. Deputy Klutz was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
