Description: Sheriff Kimerer was killed in a single-vehicle traffic accident on Highway 99 East. His vehicle sustained a rear tire blowout which caused him to loose control of the vehicle and overturn. Sheriff Kimerer suffered a fractured skull and died at the scene. Sheriff Kimerer was returning from an investigation in Red Bluff.
