Description: Deputy Sheriff Kennedy was shot and killed while attempting to apprehend a suspect who had stolen a vehicle. Deputy Kennedy located the vehicle and the suspect in the parking lot of a convenience store. As Deputy Kennedy approached the stolen vehicle, the suspect produced a weapon and shot him. Deputy Kennedy died at the scene. The suspect was shot and apprehended by law enforcement officers.
