Description: Police Officer Kohlmeier and his K-9 partner, Draco, were killed in an automobile crash when their patrol car was struck by a drunk driver in a pickup truck. Officer Kohlmeier was investigating a reckless driving complaint when the incident occurred. Officer Kohlmeier was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver was apprehended.
