Description: Agent Kuhlmeier was killed while on a counterintelligence mission in Iraq when the vehicle he was riding in struck an improvised explosive device (IED). The force of the explosion threw the armored truck off of a highway overpass and fell 30 feet to the ground. A fellow Agent was critically wounded and a U.S. Army soldier was killed in this incident.
