Description: Patrolman Kelley was struck by a truck while directing traffic and died at the scene. Patrolman Kelley was diverting traffic from the path of a truck that was in reverse when the truck suddenly accelerated and struck him. The incident was ruled as accidental by the coroner's jury and the driver was not charged.
