Description: Patrolman Knox and fellow officers were attempting to arrest a suspect who had shot a citizen and killed Policeman George Dingwall. The Officers surrounded the perpetrator at 13th and Oliver Streets. The suspect opened fire, striking Policeman Knox in the stomach and killing him. The suspect was sentenced to the insane asylum.
