Description: Police Officer Kendrick was shot, while off-duty, when he attempted to arrest a suspect on a warrant for assault and battery of a woman. Officer Kendrick was transported to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on arrival. The suspect was ruled as insane and committed to an institution.
