Description: Sergeant Kight was shot and killed while processing a traffic stop in Panama City Beach, Florida. Sergeant Kight discovered that the suspect's license was invalid and approached the vehicle to make an arrest. The suspect produced a weapon and fatally shot Sergeant Kight. His assailant was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death.
