Description: Master Police Officer Knapp died of a heart attack while at home after completing his shift. Over the course of several hours during his shift, Officer Knapp had assisted numerous motorists in snowy weather conditions, including pushing stalled vehicles off of the roadway. Officer Knapp complained of heartburn several times but continued his duty. Officer Knapp completed his shift, went home and died while asleep.
