Description: Deputy Sheriff Kotfila was killed in an automobile crash by a wrong-way driver. Deputy Kotfila was returning to the station from the hospital after an investigation when he encountered an impaired individual driving the wrong way on the exit ramp of the highway. Deputy Kotfila was unable to avoid the crash. Deputy Kotfila was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The other driver died at the scene.
