Description: Chief of Police Kundts died in an automobile crash when his patrol car was struck head-on by another vehicle. Chief Kundts was returning from southern Ohio were he had completed a flood survey that was requested by the Red Cross. Chief Kundts died at the scene of a broken neck. The eight occupants in the other vehicle were injured but survived.
