Description: Trooper Knapp was killed when he lost control of his patrol car and skidded on the rain-slicked road into the westbound lanes of Interstate 10. Trooper Knapp's police vehicle then struck another automobile on the passenger side. Trooper Knapp was transferred to a local hospital where he died the next day.
