Description: Undersheriff Kempton, Sheriff Robert McBride and Deputy Sheriff Kane Wooten were shot when they went to a residence with a warrant for the arrest of two suspects who had failed to register for the draft. Three suspects were convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
