Description: Officer Kesterson and Officer Patrick responded to a robbery in Los Angeles. The two robbery suspects engaged in a shoot-out with both officers. Officer Kesterson was shot and killed. His partner was able to return fire killing both suspects. The same suspects had fatally shot Vernon Police Officer, Richard Pennington, five times in front of his police station two months earlier.
