Description: On March 11, 2017, Police Officer Largo was shot while responding to a domestic violence call near Prewitt, New Mexico. When Officer Largo arrived at the scene, he encountered an impaired suspect who was causing a disturbance. A second impaired suspect shot Officer Largo and fled the scene. Officer Largo was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead the following day. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with several felonies including homicide.
