Description: Patrolman Loewe was shot during a burglary in progress at a woodenware plant. Patrolman Loewe came upon four burglars at the rear of the building who were attempting to break and enter. A gun battle ensued and Patrolman Loewe was shot. His assailant also died of his injuries several days later. One man was arrested and charged with murder.
