Description: Corporal LeCroy was shot and killed after a short vehicle pursuit. Corporal LeCroy attempted to stop a vehicle with a broken headlight. The driver of the vehicle fled and crashed at an intersection. As Corporal LeCroy approached the vehicle, the suspect opened fire, striking him twice. The subject then stole Corporal LeCroy's patrol car and fled the scene. Corporal LeCroy was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
