Description: Corrections Officer Leach was killed in an automobile accident while en route to pick up prisoners at the Tucker Holding Facility. Officer Leach was on assignment to transfer prisoners to the Clark County (NV) Detention Center in a department van when he collided with a gravel truck turning into the roadway. Officer Leach was driving on a dark, unlit and curved roadway grading upwards, and was unable to brake in time to avoid the truck.
