Description: Deputy Lobo was killed in a motorcycle accident while responding to the scene of another accident. Deputy Lobo was on his motorcycle behind another motorcycle officer and a squad car. All vehicles had emergency equipment activated. A vehicle pulled into their path from a side road. The first motorcycle officer and squad car swerved their vehicles out of danger. Deputy Lobo was unable to turn in time and struck the rear of the vehicle throwing him more than 50 feet. He was pronounced dead one hour later at a local hospital.
