Description: Patrolman Lomax was electrocuted while attempting to assist an automobile crash victim. Patrolman Lomax had just completed his shift and was en route home in his personal vehicle when he came across the crash. Patrolman Lomax came in contact with downed power lines while attempting to rescue the occupant from the crashed vehicle and died at the scene. Patrolman Lomax was in uniform and had his police radio in his hand at the time of his death.
