Description: Trooper Lane had a fatal accident while operating his marked patrol vehicle on Route 32 in Catskill, NY. Trooper Lane attempted to pass a vehicle when the vehicle suddenly turned left, striking the patrol vehicle. Trooper Lane lost control of his vehicle, slid sideways and struck a utility pole. Trooper Lane was killed instantly in the crash.
