Description: Deputy Sheriff Lambert was involved in a single-vehicle crash while responding to a call for assistance from a fellow officer. Deputy Lambert swerved to avoid an object in the intersection, lost control of his patrol vehicle and crashed into a cement median. Deputy Lambert was severely injured and died at the hospital three weeks later.
