Description: Chief Leatherbury suffered a fatal heart attack after helping other officers subdue a DUI assault suspect. Chief Leatherbury held the suspect's feet and was kicked several times in the face and chest, while two other officers struggled with the suspect's arms before forcing him into a holding cell. While processing the paperwork for this case, Chief Leatherbury collapsed and was transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
