Description: Deputy Labenz had a fatal heart attack and died while resting in a San Antonio, Texas hotel. Deputy Labenz and several Arizona deputies were returning from Louisiana where they assisted with the recovery efforts in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. The Arizona Team recovered more than fifty bodies of Katrina victims and rescued more than 100 citizens. While resting in a local Texas hotel, Deputy Labenz had a fatal heart attack. Fellow deputies found him deceased the next morning.
