Description: Constable Landrum was shot and killed by a man he had previously arrested for riding on the train without paying. When the man was released from jail, he borrowed a shotgun and went looking for Constable Landrum. As Constable Landrum approached on horseback, the man emerged from the bushes and shot the Constable. The man surrendered to law enforcement and was charged with murder.
