Description: Officer Lewis was killed in an motorcycle accident while responding to an officer needs assistance call. While responding with emergency lights activated a vehicle turned suddenly in front of him. Officer Lewis was thrown from his department motorcycle and into the path of another vehicle. Officer Lewis was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
