Description: Investigating suspicious persons. Officer Lewis was shot and killed while checking citizens for false I.D.'s. The perpetrator said he had identification in his car, but instead produced a small handgun and shot Officer Lewis several times in the stomach. Officer Lewis had come to the aid of a bouncer at a local bar.
