Description: Constable Long was shot by a suspect in his custody who was awaiting transfer to the county jail. Constable Long granted the suspect' request to loosen his bonds and to take a break outside. The suspect then pulled a concealed revolver and fatally shot Constable Long. The suspect fled the scene and was not apprehended.
