Description: Officer Liscombe was shot after confronting suspect Dennis Blackman, who was under house arrest pending a trial for rape. The officer recognized him as he was the son of Captain Blackman of the St. Louis City Police Department. Officer Liscombe and the assailant struggled. Officer Liscombe was shot in the head with her own weapon.
