Description: Marshal Luses and an accompanying guard were transporting a prisoner when the trailer of a heavy truck jack-knifed and swung into the path of their vehicle. Marshal Luses' car went underneath the trailer and he died of his injuries the next day. The guard and the prisoner were also injured, but recovered.
