Description: Shot. While on his patrol beat, Patrolman Lloyd approached a group of men who were creating a disturbance on a street corner. When the Patrolman asked the men to keep it down, one suspect pulled a handgun and shot the officer three times. Patrolman Lloyd died later that evening.
