Description: Deputy Law was shot during a robbery attempt while off-duty. Deputy Law and another man were confronted in an elevator by three suspects who drew a gun and demanded money. As Deputy Law drew his weapon, he was fatally shot in the chest by the suspect. The suspects then fled with Deputy Law's gun and $3.00. His assailant was convicted of murder and sentenced to 100 years in prison.
