Description: Police Officer Lynaugh died as a result of a heart attack on February 16, 2013, after a foot pursuit with a suspect eight days earlier. Officer Lynaugh noticed a suspicious person while on patrol. The suspect fled, with Officer Lynaugh in pursuit on foot, through heavy snow and climbed over several fences. After apprehending the suspect, Officer Lynaugh suffered chest pains and had difficulty breathing. Officer Lynaugh was transported to the hospital where he remained until his death.
