Description: Officer Liebengood and Officer James Morris responded to a suicide attempt. Although the patrol car lights and emergency equipment were activated, a truck pulled in front of the patrol car at an intersection, which caused the fatal accident. Officer Liebengood was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to severe internal injuries. Officer Morris survived his injuries.
