Description: Chief of Police Lindley was injured in an automobile crash when his department vehicle was struck broadside. Chief Lindley was a passenger in the unmarked vehicle with two other officers en route to a narcotics investigation. The officers were transported to the hospital where Chief Lindley died. The other two officers survived.
