Description: Detective Lancaster was shot and killed while responding to a report of a suspicious person. As Detective Lancaster approached the suspect in his unmarked cruiser, the suspect opened fire, striking Detective Lancaster multiple times. The suspect then stole Detective Lancaster's vehicle. Detective Lancaster was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect was taken into custody.
