Description: Patrol Officer Landers suffered a fatal heart attack after he placed a suspect under arrest for domestic assault. Officer Landers was dispatched to answer a domestic disturbance call regarding property theft and to serve a restraining order against the husband. As Officer Landers attempted to place the suspect under arrest, the suspect resisted and wrestled against Officer Landers as he attempted to subdue and handcuff him. Officer Landers collapsed and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
