Description: Corporal LeBlanc was shot, while off-duty, by a mentally deranged neighbor who believed that she and her fianc??®, a state trooper, were destroying his life. The suspect had made several threats at the LeBlanc residence in the past and a trespass order was filed against him. Corporal LeBlanc was confronted at her residence by the suspect, who was armed with an assault rifle and semi-automatic pistol, and began shooting. Corporal LeBlanc returned fire to protect herself and her family. The suspect fatally shot Corporal LeBlanc and her daughter, Carli Jo. The suspect then committed suicide.
