Description: Police Officer Leotta died from injuries sustained one week prior when he was struck by a vehicle while conducting a traffic stop. Officer Leotta was working as a member of the department's annual Holiday Alcohol Task Force. As Officer Leotta exited his vehicle and was approaching the vehicle he had pulled over, he was struck from behind by a driver suspected to be under the influence. Offier Leotta was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries one week later.
