Description: Special Police Officer Littleton, retired, was ambushed and shot in retaliation by a suspect he had arrested the year before for public intoxication. Edward Littleton, who was then employed as a farmer and livestock auctioneer, was unarmed when the suspect approached him in a recreation hall and fatally shot him multiple times. The suspect was charged with murder.
